Como Hacer Café Cubano

¡AZUCAR!

I’ve always grown up drinking the extra coffee left over from my mom’s morning brew.

Coffee is deep in my culture and feel like the stuff I drink every day deserves an homage. I imagined a look into Cuban culture and its deep-rooted connection between the Island and the United States. I wanted the instructional voiceovers to be in Spanish with sound effects. The animations meant to give a feeling of being at your Abuela’s house. I want it to be something very nostalgic for me and others who grew up in my community. There are 4 steps to making a Cuban coffee: filling the cafetera with coffee grounds and water, and placing it on the stove; scooping lots of sugar into the pitcher; taking the first drops of the coffee and pouring it into the pitcher, and whipping the sugar and coffee until creamy; and lastly pouring the rest of the coffee, mixing, and serving.
